Antelope Canyon, Arizona, USA

Antelope Canyon is one of the world's most beautiful canyons. Called Tse bighanilini in Navaho, which means "the place where water runs through rocks", it is found in the state of Arizona. It was formed from the erosion of rocks, when flash floods above picked up speed and grit. The water and sand smoothed and carved the edges of the slot canyon, widening it in some areas. Mother Nature truly is an abstract artist!

In Hungary, there is an ancient Easter tradition called Húsvéti Locsolás. Literally, this translates to "Easter Watering". Specifically, it means "watering of the girls."
Each year around Easter, a handful of of Hungarians take part in this fertility ritual dating back to 2nd century AD where boys throw buckets of water at young girls running past them on the streets.
Traditionally, men and young boys used to go to the girls home, usually on Easter Monday, and douse or dunk them with water. In return the men or young boys get painted eggs, chocolates, candy, Hungarian pasteries, and perhaps a kiss.

Political Candidate Offers Voters Two Very Compelling Arguments

Sole Sánchez, a Spanish politician from Menorca, Spain, has recently been accused of sexism over a poster showing her boobs being groped from behind by a man.
Sánchez, a candidate of the Democratic Party, decided to use her best physical assets in the election for the town council of Ciutadella, so she and her colleagues opted for a poster in which she displays her breasts being groped from behind by a man, accompanied by the slogan “Dos Grandes Argumentos”, which translates as Two Big Arguments. They’re big alright, and I’m sure they would have won her the ballots of male voters, but the opposition had something to say about the matter.

The Esquerra de Menorca party denounced Sole Sánchez to the Institut de la Dona (Institute of Women) and claimed sexist use of her body. he defended herself by saying no one is more feminist than her, but everyone has the right to use their body as they see fit, and if all the opposition can do is just sit and watch, that is their problem. She was forced to withdraw her posters, including some in which she appeared in clad underwear with her hands and feet tied in a sadomasochistic way.

The Cardrona Bra Fence of Central Otago, New Zealand, began in 1999 some time between Christmas and New Year 1999, when four women's bras were found attached to the wire fence alongside the road. It's unknown who did it and why. The news spread and soon more bras began to appear. By the end of February 2000 there were some 60 bras on the fence. At this time somebody took offence to it and removed them. The local press reported this and soon more bras began to come in.

By October 2000, the number of bras had reached around 200, and again some unknown persons cleared the fence of bras. By this time, the fence had become a tourist attraction and the media gave the story of the second attack a wider coverage. This resulted in even more inflow of garments. By early 2006, the number of bras attached to the fence stood at close to 800.
